Editorial Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This page explains how the guides and articles on this site are written, reviewed and kept up to date. It exists so readers can judge for themselves how much to rely on what they read here.

Who writes our content

Articles are prepared by the Flookup Valuation team — Registered Valuers and finance professionals who work on real valuation engagements across the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, the IBC, the Income Tax Act and FEMA. The people who sign our valuation reports are named on the About page.

How drafts are reviewed

Before a guide on a regulatory topic is published, it is checked against the primary source — the relevant Act, rule or circular — by a member of the team with experience in that area. We aim to link the official source (for example IBBI, the Income Tax Department, the MCA, the RBI or SEBI) so readers can verify the position for themselves.

How we track regulatory changes

Valuation rules in India change regularly. We monitor notifications from the relevant regulators and update affected guides when a change is material. Where a guide has been checked, it shows a “Reviewed on” date and the regulation version it is current for.

Corrections

If we find — or a reader tells us — that something is wrong or out of date, we correct it and update the review date. Where a change is significant, we note what changed. If you spot an error, please write to valuations@flookup.in.

Independence and advertising
